The sound of joy is raised in the old priest’s house on the birth of the preacher of the truth and the messenger of the Father’s word.
The voice was sent before the Word, crying in the wildness for repentance. Sinner, repent and live, for behold the kingdom of God is at hand.
Blessed is the infant who delighted his mother and released his father’s silence. Blessed is the Voice who came to guide humanity to the ways of Lord.

ܻܻFröjdens ljud höjs i det gamla prästhuset när sanningens förkunnare och budbäraren av Faderns ord föds. 
Ljudet sändes före Ordet, ropande i öknen för ånger; 
Syndare, ångra er och lev för att skåda Guds rike.
Välsignad är barnet som fyllde sin mor med glädje och lösgjorde sin fars tystnad.
Välsignad är Ljudet som kom för att ledsaga mänskligheten till Guds vägar.

‏والصوت الذي أُرسل أمام الإله الكلمة لينادي في البرية بالتوبة: أيها الخطاة توبوا وَاحيوا فقد اقترب الملكوت

ويجعل المعوجات طرقاً مستقيمة والشعاب سهلة، ويعدّ للرب طريقاً ويرد الناس إلى المعرفة 

.‏مبارك المولود الذي أبهج أمه وحلَّ صمت والده، مبارك الصوت الذي تقدم وهدى الناس إلى طريق خالقه

. وَنحَـوِه عَرمو لشَـفيو، وَثرو عَسقو لَفقَـعتو، وَنطَـيِب أورحو لموريو، ونَـفنِه عامو ليذَعتو

.بريخ يَـلدو دلِمِه حَدي، وَشرو شِتـقو ديُـلودِه، بريخ قُـلو دقاذِم هادي، لعامو لورحو دعُـبودِه
